what is tea seremony?

What is a "Chakai" (Tea Gathering)?

A "Chakai" can be one of two things: a casual gathering to enjoy conversation over tea like black tea, or a formal tea ceremony (Sado). Both create a delightful atmosphere through the unique essence of tea, bringing a sense of calm and connection to people. Sado, in particular, emphasizes theoretical principles, etiquette, and equality.

What You'll Gain at a Yuru Chakai

1. Share Your Passions and Strengths!

You likely have deep knowledge and interests in many things. There's no right or wrong! Even if you think you have nothing special, or that you're just like everyone else, that's simply not true! Your unique personality and sensibilities make everything you do distinct. We hope you'll share these with friends and enjoy lively conversations. There's no "correct" or "incorrect" way to be. Let's create an atmosphere of camaraderie through shared travel and tea.

2. Discover Nature's Wonders Through Tea, and Learn Health Tips!

Good health is essential to enjoy your passions. Learn about natural phenomena through the components of tea and grasp the basics of Traditional Japanese Medicine and preventative healthcare. These are wonderful gifts from nature. Without this knowledge, you might be easily swayed by misinformation, which could indirectly empower negative forces. To protect yourself and those around you, and to truly enjoy life, our gatherings are packed with wisdom. We aim to share this gently, yet profoundly.

Through the history of tea and travel, discover your true self and help shape everyone's journey. Let's become friends who can support each other when times get tough.

3. Is Thinking and Acting Independently Painful or Selfish?

Humans are beings who cannot live without sharing. That's why sometimes, our ability to think is controlled. But is controlling our own thoughts and actions truly painful or selfish? On the contrary, hindering sharing and stripping away vitality leads straight to being a slave. Tea has long played a role in connecting people's hearts. It offers a quality of time denser than actual minutes. Experience that feeling firsthand.

Furthermore, let's boost your unique charm and allure (iroke) and create an enjoyable atmosphere together. As you do, you might find yourself curious about different fields. Why not challenge yourself to explore new things with friends you've connected with through tea?

This is a tea gathering that pursues the true essence! ⇩ Through tea gatherings and travel, discover genuine knowledge, the dedication behind ingredients and people, and your mutual strengths, leading to shared joy. By combining individual efforts, we create a powerful force. We aim to build a Yuru Chakai where everyone acts from what they truly desire in their heart.

⇩ By connecting in a relaxed and horizontal way, we foster warm lives filled with joy and strength, and inspire people to act on what is truly meaningful. We also aim to create a group that offers constant support.

We are building a community that journeys together, striving for happiness through joy and horizontal connections.
